Location: Leeds
Salary: £13.50 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Leeds, LS9. This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team with a stable workload and excellent working hours.

Working Hours

• Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am – 2:30pm
• Early finish every Friday!

The Role
As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components to engineering drawings while maintaining excellent standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating CNC press brake machines.
• Setting and adjusting tooling where required.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Measuring and inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
• Working to production targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience operating CNC press brake machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
